Hey friends, I'm Irfan i.e. inventor of this blog. I have made this blog to help my fellow Gionee M2 users about everything they need to know.

    I am not getting the ctr boot . please tell me what should I do . I tried redoing the same process over and over again but still nothing happened.

    I don't more what are you sing wrong but my tutorial is the easiest way to get CTR recovery on Gionee M2.

    I have downloaded everything but still I am getting the normal m2 boot recovery do you I have download somthing else too ?

    Nope.. Just follow the steps like everyone did to get CTR recovery on their Gionee M2

    You can make a video using your own Gionee M2 while flashing CTR recovery. So use another phone

    Mine mobile is not entering into recovery mode
    I am using popkat and I want to update it to lg g3 rom

    Power off your phone. Hold the volume up and Power button for sometime. You will see 3 menus. Use volume up to choose recovery menu and then press power button to boot into recovery mode

    so i used the steps you gave in the two links you gave below

    but it doesnt go to the custom recovery instead it keeps goin back 2d default recovery. i tried install the rom zip with the default recovery but it aborts. below is the screen shot of the default recovery.

    my gionee m2 is 4gig rom. came with android 4.4.2 kernel version 3.4.67, build number: sw version m2_0102_v8125 , hw version m2_mainboard_p1
